Meet the grower

Our story

Santa Fe Greens is owned and operated by one grower: Mike.

I’m Mike

I’ve always loved growing plants. My long-term dream is to build and operate a closed-loop homestead. Santa Fe Greens is what I can build now: healthy food for my own table and high-quality greens I can share with as many people as possible.

I run the grow room, sow the trays, monitor the crops, harvest, pack, and deliver them. When you ask how something was grown, you are asking the person who actually grew it.

Why Santa Fe Greens

I wanted to start with something I could build carefully now: fresh food grown close to the people eating it. Santa Fe Greens lets me keep growing, share that food locally, and work toward the larger closed-loop farm I hope to build in the future.

Use more of every harvest

Fresh sales come first. As the pantry line develops, greens not sold during their fresh-harvest window may become dried pieces, flakes, seasonings, and blends.

Starting in 2027

Spent growing medium and root mats from every finished tray are planned to go into covered outdoor raised beds for soil building and future food production. The goal is a farm where usable food is preserved, crop residues build the next soil, and durable equipment is reused for years. The long-term goal is no waste whatsoever.

  • Owned and operated in Santa Fe
  • Each crop handled from sowing through packing
  • Surplus reserved for dried-product development
  • Spent crop material planned for raised beds beginning in 2027
